Fuller cost

We are planning to attend Fuller Theological Seminary in the fall and we are going in on a wing and a prayer. It cost so much money and they do not give scholarships to first year students. There is some other money but compared to what Fuller costs it doesn't really make a dent. At least not with our financial situation. If anybody knows of any money for school that's out there let me know.

I did my doctorate at Fuller a while back, and while I had a scholarship, it wasn't enough to pay for school and support my wife and kids. I ended up working full time while attending school. While it was a time of great stress and hardship (financially), God took care of us and blessed us.

One of the best preparations you can have for ministry is learning to trust God. If you're called to pastor a church, it is likely that you will someday encounter a group of people who are totally afraid to do anything unless they can see all the needed resources lined up in advance. When I read the bible, however, that isn't God's way.

I pray that the Lord will bless you and show himself strong through you.

Thanks for the encouragement Richard. It's funny because just today we found some opportunities that we didn't expect and God is really being faithful to this new pursuit that he is giving us. Appreciate it.

Since I heard the news about you attending Fuller, I have been nothing but joyful for you, brother! It brought me great joy to hear this news. Have great faith while in this and do not grow weary because in due time, you will reap if you don't lose heart (Gal 6:9)!!!
